나는 지금 어떠한 길의 딱 중간 지점에 서 있다.

남보다 이르게 사회에 나온 친구들 보다는 한 발자국 뒤고,

이제 막 사회에 나올 준비를 하는 친구들 보다는 한 발자국 앞섰다.

그리고 이도 저도 아닌 상태에 그대로 머물러 있다.

몸은 20대의 황금기를 보내고 있음에도 마음은 이미 늙어버린 기분이다.

fun.의 <We are Young>은 이런 나의 솔루션이다.

라고 외치는 걸 듣는 것 만으로 조급증이 사라지고,

뭐든지 해 낼 수 있을 것 같은 젊음의 에너지가 되살아난다.

이 곡이 무려 6주간이나 빌보드의 정상을 지켜낼 수 있었던 것도 이런 이유 때문이 아닐까.
